National Central University (NCU) held a business chamber academic exchange and 2027 admissions information session on October 11–12, focusing on international management talent development, cross-border EMBA education, and Finland–Taiwan academic and industry exchange. The event welcomed distinguished guests, including Lauri Raunio, Representative of Finland to Taiwan; Adam McMillan, Executive Director of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Taipei; and Max Finne, Associate Dean of the EMBA program at Aalto University. Through admissions presentations, academic exchange, and industry dialogue, the event highlighted NCU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with international academic institutions and industry partners. As artificial intelligence continues to transform business operations and the global industrial landscape, senior executives need not only professional expertise and practical experience but also an understanding of international trends, cross cultural communication, and innovative management. Lauri Raunio expressed support for the continued development of Finnish educational resources and noted that integrating international education with industry practice can help foster cooperation between Finland and Taiwan. Adam McMillan shared his perspectives on the rapid development of AI and its far reaching implications for various industries and the broader business environment.

At the admissions information session, Max Finne, Associate Dean of the EMBA program at Aalto University, and Hung-Jen Huang, Associate Dean of NCU’s College of Management, introduced the curriculum structure, learning features, and future development of the Aalto-NCU EMBA international collaboration program. By integrating management education, business practice, and international learning resources from both universities, the program aims to help participants gain a deeper understanding of different industrial environments and business models while developing cross cultural communication, global business, and strategic decision making skills.

Hung-Jen Huang noted that the partnership between Aalto University and NCU marks an important step toward advancing international management education and inter university collaboration. By combining the strengths of both institutions in academic research, management education, and industry engagement, the partnership aims to create a diverse learning environment and expand opportunities for academic research, talent development, and industry collaboration.

Max Finne also expressed his enthusiasm for the continued partnership, emphasizing that exchanges between Taiwan’s and Finland’s educational and industrial sectors will expose participants to diverse business cultures and management perspectives, helping them develop a broader international outlook.

NCU stated that it will continue to promote international talent development and cross university collaboration while strengthening connections with international academic institutions and industry partners. Through the Aalto-NCU EMBA platform, the university aims to connect academic and business resources in Taiwan and Finland, cultivate management professionals with a global perspective and cross cultural leadership capabilities, and foster greater international exchange and business cooperation.
