To deepen international educational collaboration and advance the development of senior management talent, the College of Management at National Central University (NCU) hosted the NCU College of Management × Aalto EE Program Exchange Forum on June 1. Distinguished guests included Mr. Jere Tala, Representative of Finland to Taiwan. Dr. Max Finne, Associate Dean of MBA Education at Aalto University and Ms. Anugya Singh, Director of International Affairs(Interim) at Aalto University Executive Education Ltd. (Aalto EE) . The event brought together corporate HR executives, industry representatives, faculty members, and students to explore emerging trends and collaboration opportunities in global executive education.
The forum centered on promoting international cooperation in executive management education. Through in depth discussions and face to face exchanges, participants shared insights into Nordic management education, corporate talent development models, and future program planning. The event further strengthened ties between NCU College of Management and Aalto EE, laying a solid foundation for cultivating globally minded and internationally competitive leaders.
According to the College of Management, the accelerating pace of globalization and digital transformation has significantly increased demand for senior executives and next generation business leaders. The exchange forum provided an opportunity to learn from the Nordic region’s successful experiences in innovation management, sustainability, and leadership development. It also served as a platform for both institutions to explore collaborative models in executive education and establish a talent development ecosystem that integrates global perspectives with practical business expertise.
During the forum, Mr. Jere Tala emphasized that educational cooperation serves as an important bridge for international exchange. He noted that such collaborations not only enhance the international management capabilities of Taiwanese executives but also create broader opportunities for Taiwan and Finland to cooperate in talent development, industry engagement, and knowledge sharing.
Dr. Max Finne shared Aalto’s extensive experience in partnering with leading global companies to deliver executive education. He explained that Aalto Executive MBA places strong emphasis on integrating academic theory with real world practice. Many modules incorporate real business cases, guest speakers from international companies and global exchange opportunities, enabling participants to develop a global management mindset and cross-cultural leadership competencies.
The College of Management further highlighted that Taiwan possesses world-class strengths in technology manufacturing and the electronics industry, while Finland is internationally recognized for innovation, entrepreneurship, ecosystem development, and sustainability. Through this exchange forum, both sides were able to share practical experiences from different industrial environments and management contexts, opening new possibilities for collaboration in educational resources, industry partnerships, and talent cultivation.
Looking ahead, the College of Management at National Central University will continue to promote international engagement and cross-border collaboration.
