The College of Management at National Central University (NCU), celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, announced on November 21 the launch of a new “Executive MBA Program” in partnership with Finland’s Aalto University Executive Education (Aalto EE). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the internationalization of advanced management education in Taiwan, creating a learning platform that integrates local insights with a global perspective for business leaders and professional managers.
Aalto University School of Business is among the world’s top business schools, belonging to the elite group of fewer than 1% of institutions that have earned the prestigious three accreditation AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA which represents excellence in both teaching and research. The jointly offered Aalto EMBA in Taiwan features a curriculum that balances international standards with local relevance: two thirds of the courses are delivered by NCU’s distinguished faculty, while one third is taught in Taiwan by professors from Aalto. The program also includes a one week learning experience in Finland, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Nordic innovation thinking and sustainability culture.
Dean of NCU’s College of Management, Professor Yeh Chin-Huei, stated that this partnership is a major milestone in NCU’s internationalization efforts. She expressed great honor in collaborating with the world class Aalto University to jointly nurture outstanding management talents with both global vision and local depth.
Through this program, participants can benefit from a highly internationalized management education without the need for long term study abroad, developing cross cultural communication skills and global strategic thinking. Upon completing all coursework and graduation requirements, participants will earn a Master’s degree in Management from National Central University and a certificate of completion from Aalto University’s School of Business, becoming future leaders with strong international competitiveness.
NCU EMBA Executive Director Cheng Pao-Chih also emphasized that the collaboration with Aalto University will bring a transformative learning experience to senior executives in Taiwan, offering a globally aligned perspective and establishing a new model for cross border educational cooperation.
