On May 17, National Central University (NCU) celebrated its 109th anniversary and 62nd anniversary of its re-establishment in Taiwan with the theme "Together We Remember—See You at NCU." Through a series of celebratory events, the university aims to create a shared future that is bright, beautiful, and memorable. During the main event, seven distinguished alumni were honored for their outstanding achievements, and various awards were presented to recognize exceptional accomplishments. Hand in hand, the NCU community is stepping toward a new milestone!
The event opened with a captivating performance by the NCU String Orchestra, setting the stage with their graceful music. Midway through, the Pop Dance Club energized the crowd with a dynamic show. At the ceremony’s conclusion, the NCU Choir, joined by top NCU executives, sang the university anthem, spreading the spirit of NCU.
This year’s festivities also included a creative market featuring over 30 vendors offering handmade foods, handmade crafts, and commemorative merchandise for the anniversary, creating a vibrant atmosphere and a feast for the eyes. In addition to the participation of international students, faculty, staff, and local students joined in as vendors, showcasing their skills. The event drew large crowds throughout the day, adding a lively vibe to NCU's anniversary celebration.
