On November 21st, National Central University (NCU) held the "Honorary Doctorate Award Ceremony for Mr. Huang Chun-Ming" to honor his important contributions to Taiwan's literary community. Mr. Huang Chun-Ming has consistently strived to preserve Taiwan's cultural heritage, documenting the local culture through imagery, promoting the New Cinema movement, founding magazines, and organizing reading promotion activities in his hometown. With remarkable literary achievements and selfless dedication to society, NCU conferred upon Mr. Huang Chun-Ming an honorary doctorate in literature.
Following the conclusion of the Honorary Doctorate Award Ceremony for Mr. Huang Chun-Ming, the "Huang Chun-Ming and His Era" forum commenced, featuring a keynote speech titled "What More Can I Write?" by Mr. Huang Chun-Ming himself. The forum invited participants including Mr. Xiang Yang, Chairperson of the National Culture and Arts Foundation; Professor Wang Yu-Ting, Director of the Institute of Taiwan Literature at National Tsing Hua University; Associate Professor Li Hsin-Lun from the Department of Chinese Literature at NCU; and Mr. Huang Guo-Zhen, founder of WISDOMHALL. The event was hosted by Director Lee Jui-Teng of the Center for Humanities and Arts at NCU, offering a captivating literary feast.
