National Central University (NCU)104th Anniversary for Our Song Campus Festivities opened on May 25 at Tai-Ji Statue Lawn. In addition to music concerts, creative picnic and flea market also attracted a great turnout.
The lineup for Our Song Campus Concert was spectacular this year, with talented singers and rising artists participating. The festival opened with rock bands bringing the celebration to live, while across the field, creative picnic were held concurrently where melodies flowed against the nature. The flea market was bigger than previous years, with 40 giveaways sponsored by each stands – everyone visiting could give it a shot at the lucky draw.
The indoor concert was also perfectly successful. The NCU Art Center invited One Song Orchestra to play at the Grand Lecture Hall. The group adapted the NCU anthem that was very well received by the audience. President Jing-Yang Jou summed up the festival by reiterating his expectation for NCU as a place where students and faculty pursue knowledge and fulfill believes and where education transforms the society and nation.
