In order to enhance students’ international mobility and competitiveness, National Central University (NCU) has facilitated multi-international learning mechanisms, partnering with a total of around 250 universities from 34 countries, such as the United States, UK, Germany, France, Japan and Korea. NCU provides ample opportunities for students to study abroad, including exchange programs, joint/double degree programs, and summer/winter overseas short-term programs. Each year, through these various programs with around 900 quotas, NCU helps students step from NCU to broaden their vision of the world.
Prof. Hsieh-Lung Hsu, vice president for international affairs, points out that NCU has established partnerships with various universities around the globe. NCU provides adequate financial support for students who hope to step out of their comfort zones and to expand their international horizons. By spending a semester or a year at NCU’s partner universities, students will be able to improve their language proficiency, build up the global visions, and effectively cultivate their ability in bridging different cultures.
In addition to exchange programs, students also have the opportunities to pursue joint/ double degrees. NCU has partnered with 27 institutions for different degree programs, including double-master and double-doctoral degree programs in Engineering at Hiroshima University in Japan and at Université de technologie de Troyes in France, a joint/double masters degree program in Business at Arizona State University in the United States, and a double-masters degree program in Business at Western Sydney University in Australia.
