NCU had been organizing the music concert since , yet it was postponed for more than two years due to the Covid- pandemic. This music concert was also the largest concert ever since the NCU Multi-functional Audito- rium was inaugurated. The concert hall inside the auditorium was designed for organizing international concert events. In addition, the auditorium is equipped with the most comprehensive sound system among the concert halls of other universities in Taiwan. Numerous honeycombed folded plates were installed in the interi- or of the concert hall, whose design was inspired by the organized layers of pine core scales, making the entire concert hall a perfect sound field. The highlight of the whole concert was nothing more than the Overture by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. As the overture reached its climax, the spotlight from the top of the concert hall suddenly lightened up, and the members of the NCU Wind Band on both sides of the second floor soon joined the ensemble, having the audience surrounded by this grand overture. In the end, the TPSO, the NCU Wind Band, and the NCU String Orchestra played together the NCU Anthem, delivering the NCU’s school-founding spirit, sowing the seeds of music in students’minds, and drawing a perfect end to the music concert.
